Rebranding by Changing the Way a Brand Is Seen

How does the fifth largest credit union in San Antonio compete with other financial institutions in town? By changing the way consumers and small business owners in San Antonio see financial institutions. Generations Federal Credit Union wanted prospective members and members to know that as a local financial institution, it understands its members’ specific needs by offering products and services that are personalized to fit their lifestyles.

We gave Generations a new look-and-feel without changing the existing logo as part of their visual brand identity that reinforces the credit union’s brand strategy. By working closely with the management and marketing team at Generations, we literally changed the way consumers and small business owners see credit unions. The new look-and-feel is carried onto all printed and online marketing and communication pieces such as brochures, direct mail, banners, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, e-mail communications, e-newsletters, website design, and small business debit cards.

The results brought a cohensive and powerful brand to life that fulfills the brand promise Generations’ members are looking for.
